80,000 Zenius Learning Videos Can Now Be Accessed For Free

Zenius has finally allowed everyone to access the Zenius learning videos for free to support the freedom of learning proclaimed by the Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim. Zenius, as a technology-based or edtech education platform in Indonesia, provides an opportunity for all parties to access to more than 80,000 learning videos on the Zenius platform.

Cofounder Zenius Education, Sabda PS said, this access was opened both on the site and in the application through the #AllBisaZenius program. The latest program carries the theme “Free Access” for all students, students, instructors and all education practitioners in Indonesia.

“Hopefully, Zenius can provide greater and deeper benefits. This benefit can reach more widely the students, learners, teachers, as well as education practitioners throughout Indonesia,” Sabda said at the press conference at WeWork Menara Astra, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/18/2019).

This Step Is a Commitment to Improve Indonesian Education’s Quality

He said, the theme of “Free Access” is part of Zenius’ commitment after more than 15 years of existence. Zenius learning videos have been accessed by millions of children in this country, both to develop students’ academic abilities and to develop learners as a whole.

“This achievement is a great motivation for us to continue to innovate and benefit as many Indonesian children as possible in all corners of the country,” Sabda explained.

While the children of the nation in the outermost, backward, and foremost (3T) regions, he continued, can access Zenius offline.

“Technically, by downloading the Zenius application both on Android and IOS, then register and there are instructions for verification. Furthermore, everyone can access for free,” he said.

For members, Sabda also said, Zenius will provide special services that won’t cause any loss. The reason is, Zenius aims that those Zenius learning videos include teaching materials and practice questions to be accessible to all children in Indonesia, regardless of where they live.

He continued, since 2004, Zenius has gone through a process of 15 years in formulating approaches to learning with technology that prioritizes conceptual understanding and the formation of reasoning power. That way, the basic competency to be formed is a deep understanding of scientific concepts, not just a matter of remembering and memorizing.

Thus, students and learners are projected to have a good mindset and be able to adapt and find solutions to the problems they face. This thinking ability is also what will be needed by future generations to adapt, collaborate, and compete. “The Zenius learning approach hopes to help the government’s mission to improve the quality of superior human resources,” he said.

Meanwhile, Zenius Education’s Chief of Education Initiatives, Amanda Witdarmono said, based on his five years of experience going directly to the field, he listened to the voices of teachers in various parts of Indonesia and saw major challenges in various regions along with teacher empowerment programs.

Therefore, effective and efficient solutions are needed with the help of internet technology to accelerate the reach of learning materials and teaching staffs throughout the country,” Amanda said.

She also mentioned, the videos and practice questions prepared by Zenius have been updated following the changes in the child’s character so that the learning offered is useful and in accordance with the demands of the workforce today.
