Startup by Andy Noya, BenihBaik.com Distributes IDR 1 Billion Donation

The startup company BenihBaik.com has raised funds to donate Rp 1 billion. In fact, a startup made by senior journalist Andy F Noya has only been established for four months.

BenihBaik.com raises funds (equity) for business activities. At present, Benihbaik.com is applying for registration and permission to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to be able to provide this service.

Permission granted by the FSA is very important for every fintech startup to build trust in the wider community. That way, the activities carried out by startups can get positive support from the community.

“For equity, we plan to target Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The empowerment is extraordinary in the area,” Andi said.

BenihBaik.com can be accessed either through a mobile website or an application. Andi said, the platform had been accessed by 90 thousand visitors. The company also provides payment facilities such as OVO, FUNDS, LinkAja to bank transfers.

The crowdfunding startup has distributed donations for 300 aid related to education, health, and religion. “The function of this platform is to bring together people who need and who want to provide help,” Founder and CEO of BenihBaik.com Andy F Noya said in Jakarta, Monday (7/1).

He said, there were two main pillars of BenihBaik.com. First, donations for social activities are available since last October 2019. The company has obtained a Money Collection license from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Electronic System Operator Registration Certificate from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo).

Andi hopes that the donation collection this year will increase significantly compared to 2019. For this reason, Benihbaik.com focuses on collaborating with many parties.

Initially, BenihBaik.com raised donations for Grab driver partners who were having difficulties. “For example, yesterday there was an online motorcycle taxi driver who had an accident, was admitted to the hospital, had to operate but did not have funds. We help,” he said.

BenihBaik also collaborates with PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) to expand the scope of donations. Every packet sent through JNE will have a Quick Response code (QR code) that allows users to donate.

With this partnership, everyone who delivers packages using JNE services can make donations anywhere and at any time digitally through BenihBaik.com. The users only need to scan the QR Code printed on each JNE package.

While donations can be given cashless by users via e-payment using OVO, Link Aja or DANA. “This collaboration is a development in inviting and facilitating everyone everywhere to share,” he said

According to Feriadi, this cooperation will be able to reach the wider community given a large number of package shipments every day. “This collaboration can further maximize the efforts of BenihBaik to provide the widest possible benefits to the community,” he said.

CEO of BenihBaik.com Andy F. Noya also claimed to be optimistic that this cooperation could expand the reach of fundraising among the community.
