Bukalapak is Ready to Assist Employee Card Alumni to Do Business

Bukalapak has just launched the Business Hub Employee Card to facilitate alumni of the Pre-Employment Card program. This initiative will later accompany the Prakerja Card alumni in starting a digital business by joining the Bukalapak ecosystem.

It is hoped that the presence of this initiative can also foster new entrepreneurs and at the same time improve the welfare of the Pre-Work Card program participants.

Later, alumni will receive Bukalapak assistance starting from the profiling stage, educational sessions through Inspiration Talk, meeting participants with top sellers/brands who open reseller services, to the onboarding process to sell on the marketplace platform and Bukalapak partners.

“This good collaboration can facilitate the Prakerja Card alumni to become resellers, as well as entrepreneurs who create products with brands to support the Proud to be Made in Indonesia campaign,” said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.

In an official statement received on Tuesday (6/4/2021), Bukalapak CEO Rachmat Kaimuddin said that the presence of this initiative was inseparable from the Prakerja Card program which has digitized millions of people while bringing them to experience digital transactions.

In addition, the number of participants taking digital marketing classes is also quite high. This condition was then considered to indicate a great interest from the public to sell online, so Bukalapak presented this initiative.

“Finally, we were inspired and encouraged to make this Business Hub Pre-Work Card. It is hoped that with this initiative from us, more and more new online entrepreneurs will be born in Indonesia and hopefully become successful entrepreneurs,” said Rachmat.
