PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has officially opened registration for the SYNRGY Accelerator Batch 4 program. This program is a continuation of the three previous batches that have been successfully held and have graduated a total of 28 national startups in various fields.
In line with the Indonesian government’s program, the SYNRGY Accelerator program is a collaboration and accelerator forum for the startup community to encourage growth and innovation in the digital world.
This time, BCA collaborates with KUMPUL as a strategic partner that works with more than 70 hubs and entrepreneurship-based communities and startups in 34 cities. This collaboration is expected to reach more potential startup participants from all over the archipelago.
At the kick off of BCA SYNRGY Accelerator, there were virtually Senior Vice President Digital Innovation Solutions BCA Adi Prasetyo, VP of Ecosystem KUMPUL Amalia Aininnur, and Plt. Director of Digital Economy, Ministry of Communication and Information, I Nyoman Adhiarna, on Thursday (27/5/2021).
Grow Startup Business Faster
Adi Prasetyo said, the purpose of this program is to help startups develop their business better and faster. “BCA always supports and embraces startups to be able to develop together to support Indonesia’s digital economy,” said Adi Prasetyo in a written statement, Saturday (5/6).
Seeing the great potential that can be given from the growth of startups in Indonesia in the digital economy and industry, it is hoped that later selected startups that graduated from BCA SYNRGY Accelerator batch 4 will continue to inspire and succeed in developing the digital industry sector through various technological innovations both in their respective regions and for Indonesian country.
“BCA fully supports growth and innovation in the digital world. This activity has a noble goal, namely to generate motivation and optimism for startups in Indonesia, as well as accelerate the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia,” said Adi Prasetyo.
Unlike the previous batch which focused on startups in Jakarta and its surroundings, BCA SYNRGY Accelerator Batch 4 opens up opportunities for all startups in Indonesia that already have finished and live products, and already have tractions/revenues.
Workshop for Potential Startups
SYNRGY Accelerator wants to reach more potential startups across the archipelago in its network.
Later, the selected startups will be given briefings through one-on-one mentoring sessions, workshops and sharing from experts who are experts in their fields, community events and networking sessions between startups and corporations.
On the same occasion, Amalia Aininnur revealed, KUMPUL sees great potential in the BCA SYNRGY Accelerator program which has been proven to produce startup graduates who have a positive impact in their respective fields.
“The presence of this program is also a breath of fresh air for the digital startup community throughout Indonesia, and with the experience of KUMPUL, we will contribute to the success of this program,” said Amalia.
After the kick off procession, the event continued with a panel discussion with KOMINFO’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Empowerment Creativity Coordinator Sonny Sudaryana, Fintech Investor Central Capital Venture (CCV) Eric Hendrickus, Assistant VP Digital Innovation Solutions BCA Erich Sunarta, and Founder & CEO – Assemblr Hasbi Asyadiq as representative of SYNRGY Accelerator alumni.
The series of kick off activities ended with a mini pitching session which was attended by a number of selected startups. Registration opens on 27 May – 17 June 2021 via the link bit.ly/ daftarsynrgyb4.
