East Ventures Collaborates with Startups and Government to Raise Funds

The IDPB Keeping Oxygen Movement was started by East Ventures, supported by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Singapore, and various Indonesian diaspora in Singapore.

Indonesia PASTI BISA (IDPB) has started a fundraising campaign of US$ 1 million or equivalent to IDR 14.5 billion to donate at least 1,000 oxygen concentrators to hospitals in Indonesia.

After previously successfully raising funds to produce Covid-19 test kits and providing personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical personnel, IDPB Jaga Oxygen will use the collected funds to provide 1,000 oxygen concentrators.

Prioritizing the Principles of Transparency, Accountability, and Targeting

Fundraising will be open from July 12, 2021, at 9:00, am to July 26, 2021, at 9:00 am. IDPB Keep Oxygen is run based on the principles of transparency, accountability, and right on target.

East Ventures will ensure that each partner works optimally according to principles and results-oriented, including the progress and results of the project will continue to be monitored.

Bonza, a big data analytics company, uses a data platform to map and predict the amount of oxygen demand across Indonesia.

An end-to-end system allows the integration of all tracking platforms to be transparent and has optimal reliability throughout the entire process.

In addition, Xendit and KoinWorks, which are financial technology (fintech) companies, also joined as partners in providing and managing the crowdfunding platform.

Later, the funds that have been collected will be directly distributed to purchase oxygen concentrators to accelerate the supply of oxygen for Covid-19 patients. The use of funds will also be audited by a third party.

Next, there is Waresix, a technology-based logistics company that joins as a partner to provide oxygen concentrator warehouses. This startup is also tasked with delivering oxygen concentrators to hospitals in need.

Advotics, a supply chain management SaaS software startup, is a partner to track oxygen concentrators from the purchase stage to the destination hospital.

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that he also supported the Indonesian PASTI BISA movement from startup friends, the Indonesian diaspora and the wider community.
