Halodoc and Gojek have just opened a Drive Thru Covid-19 Vaccination Service Post at Prambanan Temple, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The presence of this service post is also supported by the Ministry of Health, the Sleman Regency Government, Bhayangkara Hospital, along with the Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Parks.
The presence of this service center also confirms Halodoc’s commitment to support the government’s second phase of the mass vaccination program. This service post will serve tourism actors, public servants, and public transportation including Gojek driver-partners who have ID cards or are domiciled in Sleman Regency.
“I see the readiness of the facilities and infrastructure (vaccination) is very good and most importantly because the targets are different from other places. The targets are all happy, without fear,” said Expert Staff for Health Economics, Ministry of Health, dr. H.M. Fajr when present at this vaccination service post.
Drive-Thru is a Solution to Maintain Health Protocols
In the official statement received, Halodoc chose the drive-thru method because it was considered an important solution for the vaccination process while still implementing health protocols, such as implementing distance control, breaking down crowds, as well as providing comfort for participants who attended.
“Carrying the same spirit in providing easy access to health services, we are again presenting the fifth drive-thru Covid-19 vaccination service post in Sleman to provide safe and practical vaccination access by targeting new priority targets, namely actors of tourism, transportation and other public services,” said Chief of Medical Halodoc, dr. Irwan Heriyanto.
For information, the Covid-19 Vaccination Service Post is open from April 5 to 9, 2021 for injection of the first dose. While this post will be reopened on May 3 to 7, 2021 for the injection of a second dose.
This facility is said to be able to accommodate up to 1,000 doses of vaccine per day. “It’s more comfortable and safer, the recipients only need approximately 60 minutes from the health screening process to final observation,” said dr. Irwan.
There are Already 6 Locations in Java and Sumatra
Gojek and the Halodoc health startup are providing a Drive-Thru Covid-19 vaccination service post at Soewondo Airstrip, Medan starting today (7/4). In total, the two of them have presented six vaccination locations in Sumatra, Bogor, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.
The corona vaccination post in Medan targets the elderly (elderly) and their companions. This service will be available for at least three months.
“We are optimistic that this will become the largest vaccination center in Medan, which accommodates various levels of society to achieve herd immunity,” said Halodoc Co-Founder and CEO Jonathan Sudharta in a press release, Wednesday (7/4).
In total, the service posts from Halodoc have served the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination to nearly 50,000 people in six locations. “We will continue to increase this number,” he said.
