Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati asked startups or start-up companies to understand the financial memorandum.
According to her, by reading financial notes, startups can see opportunities to create platforms or solutive applications.
So friends, try reading a little financial memorandum, it is not like Twitter that is 144 characters, so it must be a little persistent. But from there you can see that there are so many programs that you can imagine
Sri Mulyani said at Istora Senayan, South Jakarta, Sunday, August 18, 2019.
The statement was made by Sri Mulyani when she was a mentor in the National Movement “Ignite The Nation 1000 Digital Startup Indonesia.” This meeting was held as an effort by the government to encourage the growth of the start-up industry which is now booming among millennial young people.
In the event, Sri Mulyani became a strategic mentor for start-up along with a number of ministers and other officials. For example, Maritime and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti, Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara, Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Thomas Lembong to Bekraf Triawan Munaf.
Sri Mulyani also said that by reading financial notes, millennial children engaged in the startup industry also had the opportunity to help the government. Moreover, the government currently needs tools in the form of information systems and applications that encourage the creation of government performance accountability.
He said, a number of sectors that had the opportunity were in the sectors, education, village funds, ultra micro-credit distribution to research funds.
One of them, in the education sector, in 2020 the government will pour funds worth Rp 505 trillion in this sector. That much money, one of which will be used for the school operational budget for 270 thousand schools for 50 million students.
“How do we know if we spend hundreds of trillions of operational costs that really help school operations, I imagine with digital technology, both applications or information systems you can have a mind,” he said.
Therefore, Sri Mulyani hopes that the start-up company can help the government in overcoming the problem. Many ideas can be developed based on solutions either through creating applications to information systems that can be done for this problem.
“So, my friends here, I ask for help, please help me, we are in promoting the budget so much, you can come up with an idea,” Sri Mulyani said.
