For that, he initiated this Sembapur start-up so that it could be a proof of concern for the less fortunate. “As well as inviting other entrepreneurs to rise together through foodpreneurs, which is one of the solutions to the nation’s economic revival,” said the Gerindra Party politician.

Sembapur Can Accommodate the Indonesian Government’s Priorities Regarding Food Security

Furthermore, according to Sandi, the presence of the Sembapur start-up also accommodates the government’s top priorities to maintain national food security. With food estate mapping plans in several regions. He emphasized that Sembapur can synergize with foodpreneurs in several areas to accelerate the creation of food estates in those areas.

Currently, Sembapur is collaborating with DKI BUMD foodstations, several businessmen, as well as members of the Indonesian Parliament from the Gerindra Faction, Kamrussamad. Sandiaga added that this platform while the operational area is in Jabodetabek.

But in the future, it will be developed in West Java, Banten, Central Java, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), East Java. Then in 2021, it will start moving in Makassar, South Sulawesi and Medan, North Sumatra.
